Pastor Edward Townsend serves as Pastor of Living Water Ministries International, with his wife Pastor Myrtle Townsend in East Chicago, IN. Pastor Edward attended Liberty Temple Logos Bible College in Chicago, IL. He was installed to the call of Pastor by Doctors Walter and Sandra Gillespie.

Pastor Townsend began to seek the Lord wholeheartedly for God's purpose and plans for his life. He is the president of LWMI men's ministry "BAMN" By Any Means Necessary. He has a passion to see men and woman set free by the Word of God.

Pastor Edward and his wife were ordained as Pastors under the covering and spiritual leadership by Bishop I.V. Hilliard and Dr. Bridget Hilliard of New Light Church in Houston, Texas. LWMI is a member of Association of Independent Ministries a fellowship established to mentor pastors.

He served honorably in the United States Navy for four years, he received numerous service ribbons and awards. Pastor Townsend has served on the Board of Directors for shelters that housed the homeless, abused, battered women and children. Through his training and love that God has given him for others, he has a vision to truly see people free from oppression.

Pastor Townsend was employed by the city of Chicago for 25 years during which time he and other co-workers organized a work place bible study. By the leading of the Holy Spirit many lives were changed and souls were won for the Kingdom of God. In his endeavors to reach those who are without hope, he has spent countless hours evangelizing and sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ in various communities.

Pastor Edward is a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and a mentor to many spiritual sons and daughters.
